Star Alliance Lounge LAX Terminal B at Five Years: A 2026 Lounge Review

The Star Alliance Lounge at LAX Tom Bradley International Terminal opened to the alliance-wide network in 2013, was extensively refreshed in 2021, and has been operating in its current configuration for five years. We logged three visits in spring 2026 to assess where the lounge sits against the Centurion Lounge at LAX Terminal 5 and the new Chase Sapphire Lounge at LAX Terminal 4 (Q3 2026).

Best LAX Airport Car Services (2026): A Terminal-by-Terminal Ground-Operations Benchmark

We benchmarked nine Los Angeles International Airport car operators against the criteria that actually matter at the LAX horseshoe in 2026: T1 Southwest, T2 Delta partner, T3 Delta One/Premium Select, Tom Bradley International (TBIT), T4 American, T5 American, T6 Alaska/American, T7 United, and T8 United pickup discipline, the LAX-it ride-hail relocation lot rule that has governed undifferentiated app pickups since 2019, the cell-phone lot dispatch geometry, the BUR Burbank and VNY Van Nuys alternatives that protect Hollywood-area travelers and private-aviation principals from the 405 corridor failure modes, and the FBO posture at Signature, Atlantic, and Million Air across LAX, BUR, and VNY.

LAX to Sydney on Qantas: A380 First and Business Class Compared (2026 Route Review)

Qantas QF12 from Los Angeles to Sydney is the carrier's marquee transpacific flight — a fifteen-hour overnight sector flown by an A380-800 with the Marc Newson First Suite up front and refreshed Skybed Business class on the main deck, alternating with a 787-9 on the second daily wave. We flew both products in March and April 2026 and compare them against United, American, and Delta's partner alternatives on the same airport pair.
